Stay healthy to live longer

In today’s busy life where times have changed and women just don’t belong to the kitchen but have come out to work in the social world a lot of us are prone to neglect ourselves. Women have stepped into the working world but this doesn’t mean she has left the duties to the kitchen and family behind. She manages both.

You hear women claiming they have no time to take of themselves, because they are so busy taking care of everyone else. If you think about this statement though, it doesn't really make sense. If you spend your time taking care of everyone else the chances are, you make healthy choices for them out of love and concern then why not spend a little time to make your life a little healthier as well.
Most women see to it that they do what’s best for their husband and children to live a healthy life, then why not yourself? There is a sacrificing side to woman’s nature that lead us to neglect our own needs and place them last. Our neglecting side lead us to face the darker side of our health. Living a good healthy lifestyle is important for longevity and the quality of life.

The quality of life we choose to live today determines tomorrow. And this starts with making small decisions. Taking the stairs, walk during lunch, eat low fat meals, take vitamins and supplements, spend 30 minutes a day doing a stress reducing activity and so on. One by one the small decisions create an overall healthy lifestyle when coupled with regular exercise. 30 mins off 24 hours for ourselves might seem a lot but it is essential that we do so. Don’t you think we deserve 30 mins a day for ourselves after all we do ?
